NEW IN UITA'S SWIMMING SCHOOL OFFER!
Uinti Tampere expands its activities to Validiatalo
The water temperature in the Validiatalo pool is +31 degrees, the bottom is flat and the pool depth is 1.3 meters. The pool can be accessed via gently sloping stairs with a handrail.
The pool is square-shaped, which makes organizing swimming lessons easier and more pleasant. The square shape ensures that every child has enough space to learn.
New activities are also being launched at Validiatalo:
New courses at Validiatalo include Child–Parent groups and Family Swimming. The familiar continuation swimming schools in the large pool and technique swimming schools are also part of the offering at Validiatalo.

Parent-child swimming 3–5 years
This group is intended for children aged 3–5 years and their parent. In the group, children practice blowing into the water, putting their face in the water, diving, jumping from the edge, floating, gliding, basic swimming skills and water rescue skills. The group progresses through play; the classes include both group instruction and individual exercises for the parent and child related to the theme of the day. The instructor differentiates activities when needed and offers various options for the exercises so that everyone can find tasks that match their own level during the swimming lesson.

Continuation Swimming Lessons
The requirement for participation is the ability to swim 10 m. During the course, the SUH hobby badge is completed. The continuation swimming lessons are intended for children aged 5–7. In the group, children practice gliding, kicking techniques, retrieving an object from the bottom, jumping, as well as mole-style swimming and basic backstroke. The goal is to learn to swim 25 m continuously. The group is a good follow-up to the Beginner Swimming Course, but attendance in the Beginner group is not required.
In the Validiatalo groups, the entire lesson is held in the large pool. Thanks to the pool profile, there are rest areas and plenty of space for practice for every swimmer.

Family Swimming 1–5 years
Family swimming is a shared swimming and playtime session for two children and two adults. The children can be between 1 and 6 years old. The instructor differentiates the teaching so that the sessions include exercises suitable for children of all ages and skill levels.
The aim is to help both children get used to the water environment. Together with the children, it is possible to practise blowing bubbles, submerging, floating and the basics of swimming. There are a maximum of six families in the pool at the same time during family swimming sessions.

Technique Swimming School
In the swimming school, the SUH Technique Badge is completed. In the Technique Swimming School, swimming is still practiced through games and play. The group practices glides, somersaults, jumps and different swimming strokes. The goal is to learn to swim freestyle, backstroke and breaststroke for 50–100 m. The group is held in the deep pool.
The Technique Swimming School is a good continuation after the Advanced Swimming Schools.
After the Technique School, the next group, based on the instructor’s recommendation, is either the Youth Hobby Group or the Rollo School.
