Basic Swimming School (4–6-year-olds)

The basic swimming school level requirements are: dipping the ears in the water in a backstroke position, independent stationary floating with a support aid with the face in the water, hand sculling, and submerging. It is recommended to be able to do these before starting the basic swimming school. During the swimming school, the SUH water skills or basic badge is completed. The badge requirements include, among other things, 10 m of continuous swimming, gliding, and retrieving an object from the bottom (in chest-deep water)

The groups are led by experienced and trained instructors who have experience working with young children.
