Advanced Swimming School (5–7 years)

The level requirements for the continuation swimming school are basic swimming 10 m (backstroke, breaststroke, “mole” stroke), alternating leg kick, a jump into water of swimming depth, a 3 m surface glide, and diving for an object in chest-deep water. It is recommended to master these skills before starting the continuation swimming school. During the course, the SUH hobby badge is completed. Some continuation swimming schools are held in the large pool. All groups in Varala and Validiatalo are deep-pool groups, and two of the Sunday continuation swimming school groups in Kaleva are also in the deep pool.

After the continuation swimming school, participants move on to large-pool groups.
